Here we have Bacon s 1882 coloured map of HUNTINGDONSHIRE, taken from George W Bacon s NEW LARGE SCALE ORDNANCE ATLAS of the BRITISH ISLES published in London n 1882.The map shows the whole of the county, coloured in to represent the parliamentary constituencies at the time of publication.Clearly shows the relief of the land and all railways and roads of the time (not a motorway or trunk road in sight...!)The double page map measures; 30 x 46 cm divided into 5 mile squares.Ideal for framing and would make an excellent Christmas present.
